Mr. Ha brings a wealth of experience in driving business development, trading, M&A, and operational activities across the entire energy business value chain.
Specifically, he has gained valuable expertise in LNG liquefaction & power projects, Natural gas marketing, and LNG procurement from three prominent companies including Samsung C&T and GS Energy, covering activities from Upstream to Downstream.
Beyond traditional energy ventures, Mr. Ha also possesses investment and post-merger integration (PMI) experience in the Energy transition sector, particularly in Virtual Power Plant (VPP) projects and EV charging operations.
Mr Dmitri Baek joined DL Energy in 2015 and is the Team Leader of Energy Development Team. He has more than 18 years of energy industry experience in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America as developer from IPP business development and front-end prospection through to project development, finance, coordination & management of multi-disciplinary teams. He had an in-depth knowledge of technical aspects of multiple energy technologies including Wind, Solar, CCGT, Coal, Diesel Engine and ESS. Before joining DL Energy, he formerly worked at ST International as an Investment Manager, taking the lead of IPP development in South-East Asia and South Korea. Moreover, he has managed several power EPC projects successfully before building his career in the IPP business such as working at LOTTE E&C and ABB Korea as a Deputy Project Manager especially, Middle-East Region. While working there, he was responsible for the overall management of contract discussion with the owner, engineering, procurement, construction, and budget control also, support the Owner to complete the financing closure and direct agreement with Lenders.
Mr. Byun joined DL Energy in 2017 as a vice president of the company’s Power business. He has more than 20 years of experience of global business strategy & development and M&A through his career in SK Group and Deloitte Consulting. His experiences and knowledge from various industries such as Resource, Infrastructure, and IPP will be valuable addition to DL Energy’s leadership.
Mr. GD Jung oversees the corporate management and business planning team, actively engaging in various committees within the company. With a background in engineering, he possesses a profound understanding of the energy industry, particularly specializing in the field of power plant development, including combined cycle, coal-fired, renewable, and biomass plants.
He has been intimately involved in numerous domestic and overseas development projects, serving as a member of the techno-commercial risk review committee and playing a pivotal role in various contract evaluations and EPC agreements.
Prior to his current role, he worked at Hyundai Heavy Industries and served as the MENA regional manager at the Dubai branch office.
Mr. Jong-beom Ham, the team leader of Global Business Team, possesses over 10 years of experience in the field of IPP. Mr. Ham joined DL Energy in 2014, and so far he has successfully led the closing of two projects: PMGD Solar PV and Cochrane CFPP in Chile, which contributed to the entry and consolidation of the company in the LATAM’s Electricity Sector. Before joining DL Energy, he formerly worked for the Korea East-West Power Co., LTD. While working there, he acquired on-site experience at two coal fired power plant sites in Dangjin and Donghae, Korea, and he made significant contributions in two takeovers and one tax equity financing in the States.
Mr. Lee joined DL Energy on Oct. 2019 as a team leader of Energy Transition business. He has more than 20 years of solid experience in global power business development across the entire power business value chain from the Turbine and EPC to IPP and M&A. Prior to joining DAELIM, he served as a group leader at POSCO Energy, taking the lead of overseas IPP development in South-East Asia, MENA, and Africa region and a director of AES-VCM in Vietnam and Palapye Power GL in Botswana. Moreover, he has succeeded in numerous power EPC projects before building his career in IPP business, such as working at Samsung C&T as a proposal manager. Additionally, when he has made great achievements in UAE, Indonesia, and subsequently moved to GE, as a commercial director, he has even closed the multiple transactions with buyers in various countries. To gain profound insights, he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with mechanical engineering as sub-major at Sungkyunkwan University.
Mr. Kim, the part leader of CP Part, graduated Kyung Hee University with degree in law and even earned master of law from the same university. With this background, he is the professional in the field of legal part, compliance, internal audit, and fair trade. Prior to joining DL Energy in 2016, Mr. Kim built his career in energy business by working as a legal manager at Shinpyeongtaek Power Company, which is a joint venture of Korea Western Power Co., and GS Energy. While he was working at Shinpyeongtaek Power Company, his major duties were related to power plant construction and LNG trading. Moreover, he was a legal manager who was responsible for leading project about building LNG terminal and establishing policies at Boryeong LNG Terminal, a joint venture of SK E&S and GS Energy. Moreover, when he worked at SK E&S, he was wholly in charge of several projects named ‘Hanam-Misa Combined Heat & Power project’, ‘Wirye District Energy Project’, ‘Gimchoen combined Heat & Power project’, and so on. In addition to above-mentioned projects, he strengthened his knowledge by working as a legal manager at City Gas Company, such as Yeongnam energy service, Chungcheong energy service, and Chungnam energy service. About his past work experience, he was a legal part leader who was in charge of internal audit in audit team of Lotte Group.
Mr. Byun joined DL Energy in 2017 as a vice president of the company’s global business development. Mr. Jaekon (Jack) Hwang serves as Team Leader of Market Analysis Team and is responsible for energy market analysis and asset management of DL Energy. He has extensive market knowledge in energy and infrastructure sector and successful investment track record for more than 3GW of power asset including CCGT, biomass, wind, solar, and energy storage.
Prior to joining DL Energy in 2024, Mr. Hwang was Senior Analyst of Shinhan Securities Research Center, where he provided valuable insight to Korean financial institutions and pension funds. In 2020, he served as Team Leader of Next Stream Team and DES Business Planning Team of Q Cells and Hanwha solutions. Prior to that, he was senior manager of business development at GS EPS and member of Risk Management Committee of Linden Cogeneration in New Jersey. He started his career with Accenture in strategy consulting services.
Mr. Hwang received M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University and B.S. degree with honor in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University.
Mr. Jung, who is the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountant (KICPA), is currently leading the Finance & Accounting Team after joining DL Energy in 2020. Prior to joining DL Energy, Mr. Jung led the finance team in Pocheon Power, a 1,500MW power generation company, and successfully completed in refinancing which is about 670 billion won to improve the financial structure. Moreover, when he was working for EY Korea and Deloitte Korea from 2012 to 2018, he carried out due diligence, valuation, and audit of various listed companies.
Mr. Jeon joined DL as a project development manager in 2011. Before joining DL, he worked over 5 years at Samjong KPMG in Korea. Moreover, he has more than 7 years of experience in business development and M&A, such as leading the Poseung Biomass Cogeneration (Korea) and Millmerran CFPP (Australia) project to a successful completion. Currently, he is responsible for the domestic business development including PJT Yeongju.
Mr. Kim, the team leader of Business Development Team. He joined DL Energy in 2013 and more than 15 years of experience in the field of IPP, such as leading the Hawa wind power (Pakistan) and Yeosu Hydro fuel cell power (Korea) project to a successful completion.
Before joining DL Energy, he formerly worked at DOHWA Engineering. While working there, he has experience in Power plant engineering and IPP development. Currently, he is responsible for the domestic new business development including Yeosu off-shore wind power.

From 2013 to 2014, Mr. Bonghee Lee worked for Samsung Engineering in Korea and obtained an MBA degree from Soongsil University. While he was in Samsung Engineering, his position was commissioning manager of SLP 200MW Combined Cycle Power Plant, commissioning and operation manager, PTW (permit to work) manager of Norte Ⅱ 450MW Combine Cycle Power Plant, and commissioning manager, Moreover, he also participated in the first Mexico Project of KEPCO from 1992 to 2013 and was in charge of various tasks: a specialist for Steam Turbine Diagnosis, supervisor of operation and management at KEPCO Research Institute, specialist in the field of steam turbine diagnosis for KEPCO, Korea Genco’s power plant in Korea and abroad Taean 1000MW unit 5&6 Coal Fired Power Plant, Korea commissioning and operation of turbine/generator, boiler and their auxiliaries, shift leader of operation department, diagnosis of technical issues of Yeong-weol 400MW Coal Fired & Combined Cycle Power plant, Korea operation of turbine/generator, performance engineer, and operation management.
Mr. Jeon joined DL as a project development manager in 2011.
Before joining DL, he worked over 5 years at Samjong KPMG in Korea.
