Niles CCPP (USA)

DL Energy, together with Indeck Energy Services and Korea Southern Power Co. invested in 1,085 MW Niles Combined Cycle Power Plant (Niles CCPP) with the total investment of US$1.05 billion.

The plant has installed General Electric 7HA.02 turbines and has constructed by Kiewit Corporation (Kiewit), turn-key basis and Kiewit is a top-tier EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) Contractor in the US. Niles CCPP commences its commercial operation in June 2022.

The plant is located in city of Niles, Michigan State, approximately 100 km east of Chicago and it sells the electricity to largest wholesale electricity market in the North America that stretches over Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland (PJM).

Niles CCPP is operated and managed by Indeck Niles Asset Management, LLC which is owned by the same equity investors with an equal ownership of 33.3%, respectively. DL Energy participates the plant’s operation as an asset manager.
